Yield
How yield reaches a treasury, and how the yield route splits it.
Yield raises the floor without minting tokens.
Adding yield
Anyone can send USDC into a treasury as yield from the Add yield panel on its token page. The launch's yield route, fixed at launch, decides the split:
- amount × yield route goes to the team wallet,
- the rest goes into the treasury and raises the floor for every holder at once.
The panel shows both parts and the floor after the transaction before you sign. Yield can be added once tokens are in circulation.
Yield from a fund position
On the local test network, a treasury can hold shares of a test Treasury fund. As the fund's value rises, so does the treasury. The team's share of that growth, by the yield route, is held for the team and paid out when anyone runs Rebalance, which also restores the USDC buffer.
