FAQ
Short answers to the questions people ask first.
Why is the floor below the price?
The sale price includes the 1% protocol share and the team share, which both leave at the sale. At a $1.00 price and a 20% team share, the protocol takes $0.01 of each dollar and the team 20% of the rest, $0.198, so $0.792 goes into the treasury and the floor starts at $0.792.
Is $PLINTH the token I buy in a sale?
No. Each launch mints its own token, with its own treasury and floor. $PLINTH is Plinth's own token: 1% of every sale's proceeds buys it in the market to burn. See $PLINTH.
Can the team take the treasury?
No. The program moves money out of a treasury only to pay a holder who redeems. The team receives its share of each purchase, and its share of yield by the yield route, at the moment those happen.
What happens if the price falls below the floor?
Holders can redeem at the floor at any time, so selling below it pays less than redeeming. Anyone can buy below the floor in a pool and redeem at the floor; the token page's Market price panel shows when that pays.
Why did my purchase say the sale cannot sell?
Each token a sale sells has to add at least the floor to the treasury. Yield or redemption fees can lift the floor above what the sale adds per token, after the protocol and team shares. The sale then stops at its price. See Sales.
What is the redemption fee for?
It stays in the treasury and lifts the floor for the holders who keep their tokens. The last holder of a launch pays no fee.
Why do I need SOL?
Solana charges a network fee for each transaction, and new accounts hold a small rent deposit: your token accounts, and the receipt each operation writes. About 0.01 SOL covers a purchase or a redemption.
How long is a quote good for?
Two minutes. The transaction you sign carries a deadline of at most five minutes.
I declined in my wallet. Why can't I try again straight away?
The app holds the request until the network shows it can no longer land, usually about a minute, so the same operation cannot run twice. The transaction panel tells you when you can try again.
Which wallets work?
Solana wallets that support the Wallet Standard, such as Phantom, Solflare and Backpack. See Connect a wallet.
Where can I see the accounts?
Each token page's Launch terms panel lists the launch, mint, creator, team wallet, quote mint and program addresses, each with a copy button.
