Launch a token
Set up a sale in the studio and open it with one transaction.
The studio at Launch a token sets every argument of the launch. As you type it computes the floor, the raise and the most a sale buyer can lose, and draws them on a post.
1. Name the token
- Name: up to 32 bytes.
- Ticker: 1 to 8 letters or digits.
2. Set the sale
- Pricing: Fixed price, or Rising curve with a start and an end price.
- Price: in USDC, up to six decimals.
- Tokens for sale: the sale's allocation.
3. Set the shares
| Setting | Range | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Team share at sale | 0% to 40% | To the team wallet with each purchase |
| Redemption fee | 0% to 10% | Stays in the treasury on each redemption |
| Yield routed to the team | 0% to 50% | To the team wallet from each yield; the rest raises the floor |
All three are fixed once the launch exists. Each purchase also pays the 1% protocol share, before the team share; the studio shows it as To the protocol. See $PLINTH.
4. Set the timing
- Sale opens: when the launch is confirmed, or at a set time.
- Open for: 1 to 365 days, or a number of hours.
5. Choose the team wallet
The wallet that receives the team share and routed yield. Leave it empty to use the wallet you sign with.
6. Review and sign
- Select Review launch. The card lists the settings you are about to sign, under the program's own argument names.
- Select Sign and launch and approve in your wallet.
- When the transaction confirms, the app opens your token page.
One transaction creates the launch account, the token mint, the treasury vault and the sale. Your wallet pays the network fee and the rent for these accounts.
