Check a transaction

What the transaction panel shows, and what to do while it waits.

The panel at the bottom right of the app follows the transaction you started. Its post has four teeth: Prepare, Approve, Send and Confirm. The catch moves up a tooth as each step completes.

What it says

MessageMeaning
Approve it in your walletThe transaction is waiting for your signature.
Sent. Waiting for the network to finalize it.The transaction reached the network. Finality usually takes under a minute.
Confirmed on chain. It ran, and its receipt matches what you approved.
It ran and failed on chain. Nothing changed. The program refused it.
It expired without running. Nothing changed. You can try again. It never landed before its deadline.

If you closed the page

The app remembers a transaction it has not finished checking. Open the app again and sign in with the same wallet: the panel picks the transaction up and checks it. While a transaction is still open, the app follows it in the panel and lets you sign the next one once it settles.

Check again

If the panel stops before an outcome, select Check again. Once a transaction is final, select Dismiss.

On mainnet

Confirmed transactions link to Solana Explorer. On the local test network the panel shows the signature instead, with a button to copy it.
