Follow-on sales

How a creator sells more tokens without lowering the floor.

After a launch's sale ends, its creator can open another sale of the same token: a follow-on sale. It has its own price or curve, allocation and window. The team share stays the one fixed at launch, and each purchase pays the 1% protocol share before it, as in the first sale. See $PLINTH.

When you can open one

  • You signed the launch: only its creator can open a follow-on.
  • The current sale has sold out, or its window has closed.
  • Tokens are in circulation and the launch is not closed.

The lowest price

A follow-on sale cannot start below:

lowest start price = F ÷ (0.99 × (1 − team share))

At that price, each new token adds at least the floor to the treasury after the protocol and team shares, so the floor holds or rises.

A follow-on sale cannot start below the floor divided by what each dollar keeps after the 1% protocol share and the team share, so every new token adds at least the floor. Example with a 20% team share.

The Follow-on sale panel on the token page shows this price, and its Use button fills it in. The program checks it again when the transaction runs, so a floor that rose in the meantime is still respected.
